The enigmatic track title “Rrose Sélavy, Yet It Is Always Others Who Die – MNNK MADE” draws from the collaborative fashion label created by Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa, inspired by Marcel Duchamp—often hailed as the father of contemporary art. (“Rrose Sélavy” was Duchamp’s famous female alter ego, while “It is always others who die” is inscribed on his tombstone.)
Hosokawa’s acclaimed brand READYMADE also references Duchamp’s pioneering “readymade” concept, first realized in his iconic Fountain, which reshaped modern art. The vinyl jacket features new artwork by Murakami, reinterpreting Duchamp’s masterpieces and linking contemporary art history to this unique musical collaboration.
Each copy includes three randomly inserted trading cards from 20 designs, with an exceptionally rare chance to find a double-signed card autographed by both JP THE WAVY and Murakami—individually numbered and limited to just five cards
