Seiya, an orphan chosen by the Kido Foundation as a child, was tasked with retrieving a legendary bronze armor and bringing it back to Japan. He succeeds in this mission, along with ten other orphans. However, the foundation forces them into a tournament, where they compete for the golden armor. When the golden armor is stolen, the knights begin to uncover that their troubles originate from the Sanctuary in Greece. This is the home of the 12 most powerful knights, the Golden Knights, and their leader, the Great Pope, whose target is Saori Kido, the young heiress of the foundation and the reincarnation of Athena.

The series achieved enormous popularity, leading to a vast franchise that includes TV series, films, and video games. This album showcases the best music and songs from the anime, composed and arranged by Seiji Yokoyama (known for GATCHAMAN).
