WRWTFWW Records is thrilled to present the first-ever vinyl release of the stunning soundtrack for the 1999 Japanese action-political thriller Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, composed by Hajime Mizoguchi. This epic full-length album is available as a limited-edition LP, cut at Emil Berliner Studios and housed in a heavyweight 350gsm sleeve.

Written by Palme d’Or and Leone d’Oro-winning filmmaker Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor 2, Angel’s Egg), Jin-Roh is a landmark anime directed by Hiroyuki Okiura (Record of Lodoss War, A Letter to Momo) and produced by the renowned studio Production I.G.

Hajime Mizoguchi’s evocative score perfectly captures the film’s dystopian world and its haunting Little Red Riding Hood motif. Blending classical orchestration, ambient textures, and stirring melodies led by ominous strings, the soundtrack creates a deeply immersive and emotional experience.

This release follows WRWTFWW Records’ acclaimed Japanese soundtrack catalog, which includes Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor 2, Evil Dead Trap, and Violent Cop, and precedes the upcoming release of Sonatine by Joe Hisaishi.
