Remastered LP Reissues of Beloved Albums by Japan’s Legendary Guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka
The works of Masayoshi Takanaka—one of Japan’s most iconic and beloved guitarists—are being reissued on vinyl with brand-new remasters. Fan-favorite albums T-WAVE, alone, and the acclaimed concept album The Rainbow Goblins (Niji Densetsu) return in stunning new editions, remastered from the original master tapes using high-resolution audio.
Remastering and cutting were carried out at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios in London. T-WAVE and alone were remastered and cut by Alex Wharton, one of Abbey Road’s top engineers, known for his work with Paul McCartney & Wings, The Chemical Brothers, and more.
For The Rainbow Goblins, mastering legend Miles Showell handled both the remastering and half-speed cutting. His work spans legendary acts like The Beatles, Queen, Eric Clapton, and The Rolling Stones, and his expertise brings this beloved album to life in audiophile-level quality.
Each title will be released as a 180g heavyweight limited edition vinyl, featuring colored vinyl that visually complements the album’s cover art.
