Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut, selected highlights from the Kitty Years of Japan’s legendary super guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka have been newly remastered.

Originally released in 1980, this mini album captures Funky Takanaka at full throttle. Just as the title implies, it’s a joyous 45 RPM record where Takanaka’s fingers dance effortlessly across the fretboard. The release features all four original tracks, including the tenderly romantic “PLASTIC TEARS” and the pulse-pounding disco classic “FINGER DANCIN’.”
