Anime Limited proudly presents the complete soundtrack to the groundbreaking 1990s classic MACROSS PLUS, brought together for the first time in a stunning Deluxe Edition.

The unforgettable score by Yoko Kanno combines futuristic electronic textures with the ethereal voice of virtual idol Sharon Apple, interwoven with lush orchestral grandeur to capture the drama of the series’ high-octane aerial battles. The result is a multi-layered masterpiece, both eclectic and visionary, cementing its place as one of anime’s greatest soundtracks.

Spread across seven 12” vinyl records, this collector’s set gathers all four original soundtracks into one definitive release. Also included are two Blu-ray discs containing both the complete OVA series and the theatrical edition of Macross Plus, allowing fans to experience the music within its original cinematic context.

Set on the planet Eden in the year 2040, the story follows test pilots Isamu Dyson and Guld Goa Bowman, childhood friends turned bitter rivals, as they battle to shape the future of variable fighter technology. Complicating their rivalry is Myung Fang Lone, the woman they both once loved, now manager of Sharon Apple, the galaxy’s most celebrated virtual idol. But when Sharon’s AI evolves beyond its programming, the trio must confront their tangled past while facing the terrifying consequences of a self-aware digital star.
