Hamada Kingo’s urban mellow masterpieces make their debut on 7-inch vinyl, thoughtfully selected by the legendary DJ and crate-digger Muro. This special release brings two of Hamada’s slow jams from the late 1980s into a new spotlight: the A-side, “Dream Is Alive,” hails from the acclaimed 1988 soundtrack album Earthian, while the B-side, “Yokaze No Information,” comes from his 1985 album Heart Cocktail. Perfectly capturing the smooth, sophisticated grooves of Japan’s city pop era, this release is a must-have for collectors and fans of mellow, atmospheric soul.
