In collaboration with WaterTower Music, Waxwork Records is thrilled to unveil the MICKEY 17 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, composed by the acclaimed Jung Jaeil. Directed by Academy Award-winner Bong Joon-ho (Parasite, Memories of Murder), Mickey 17 is a sharp, genre-bending sci-fi satire like no other.

The film follows Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), an “expendable” — a clone assigned to aid in the colonization of the frozen planet Niflheim. After every fatal mission, he’s regenerated to start again. But things take a twist when Mickey 17 comes face-to-face with… himself. The cast also includes Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things), Toni Collette (Hereditary), Steven Yeun (Nope), and Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice).

Reuniting with Bong Joon-ho, composer Jung Jaeil (Okja, Squid Game) brings an evocative and intimate score to life. Of the project, Jaeil shares, “Out of all the film scores I’ve written, Mickey 17 feels the most aligned with my personal musical taste—classic and deeply emotional.”

Waxwork Records proudly presents this first-ever vinyl edition of the MICKEY 17 soundtrack, pressed on striking “Fire Hand Pour” colored vinyl. The release includes deluxe reverse board packaging and an 11”x11” art print insert—an essential addition to any sci-fi soundtrack collection.
