Composed and conducted by Horner, the score features the London Symphony Orchestra and was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The film marked the first of three collaborations between Cameron and Horner, followed by Titanic and Avatar.

Reprising her role from Alien, Sigourney Weaver stars as Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of an attack on her ship, who is sent back to confront a terrifying new threat.
