Halo Studios and Laced Records bring the iconic music of the original Halo trilogy to vinyl for the first time.

This triple LP set celebrates the monumental soundtrack of Halo 2, specially remastered for vinyl and pressed onto heavyweight records. The discs are housed in a wide-spined outer sleeve with printed inner sleeves, featuring original artwork by Art Director and Concept Artist Isaac Hannaford, former Lead Concept Artist and contributor to Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. Additional artwork comes from graphic designer Maren Landsnes.

For Halo 2, the composers teamed up with a stellar lineup of musicians to expand the series’ sound into new territory. The iconic Halo theme received a powerful heavy metal makeover in the legendary “Mjolnir Mix,” while orchestral compositions, atmospheric passages and rock-driven tracks created an even bigger and more dynamic musical experience.

The soundtrack also made history as the first video game soundtrack to enter the Billboard 200, cementing Halo 2 as one of the most influential game scores of its generation.
