Set in the richly atmospheric world of feudal Japan, the soundtrack blends traditional Japanese instrumentation with inventive modern production, bridging history with the series’ signature sci-fi edge.

Returning to the franchise, The Flight (Joe Henson & Alexis Smith) deliver a dynamic, cinematic score ranging from vast, meditative soundscapes to taut stealth passages and explosive battle themes—crafted with the help of renowned Japanese musicians.

Complementing the main score, Japanese-Canadian band TEKE::TEKE provide Kage No Iro, a surf- and psych-rock infused set of tracks for shinobi assassin Naoe, including a striking reinterpretation of Jesper Kyd’s iconic “Ezio’s Family.”

Meanwhile, production collective Thunderdrum join forces with British-Tanzanian artist Tiggs Da Author on UKOMBOZI, an eclectic soundscape that combines Morricone-inspired guitars, East African rhythms, and Japanese flutes with evocative Swahili vocals—capturing the spirit of the samurai
