This definitive best-of compilation from Teresa Teng’s Taurus era—originally released in 1986—returns in a premium audiophile edition as part of the prestigious 100% Pure LP series. The collection brings together some of her most beloved recordings from the mid-1980s, including the landmark singles “Tsugunai” and “Aijin”, along with their B-sides “Waratte Kanpai” and “Ame ni Nurete.” Also featured is the city-pop-tinged “Midasarete,” as well as seven beautifully re-recorded interpretations of signature Polydor-era classics such as “Yoru no Ferry Boat” and “Gelsomina no Aruita Michi.
Completing this carefully curated selection are two major songs released after the album’s original issue—“Toki no Nagare ni Mi wo Makase” and “Wakare no Yokan.” With these additions, the record stands as an expanded and essential overview of Teresa Teng’s timeless repertoire.
