Waxwork Records proudly presents the Original 1979 Television Soundtrack to Salem’s Lot as a deluxe double LP release. Directed by Tobe Hooper and adapted from the celebrated novel by Stephen King, the two-part television miniseries first aired on CBS in 1979 and has since become a cult classic, widely regarded as one of the most chilling vampire stories ever brought to television. Its haunting atmosphere, gripping storyline, and unforgettable finale have cemented its place in horror history.

This release features the complete, newly remastered score from the film, composed and conducted by Harry Sukman. Containing all 84 musical cues, the expansive soundtrack runs for over an hour of eerie, suspenseful orchestral music that perfectly captures the film’s dark and unsettling tone. The score to Salem’s Lot was Sukman’s final composition before his passing in 1984, making it an important piece of television and horror music history.

Waxwork Records has also commissioned all-new artwork by Ruiz Burgos for this special reissue. The package includes 180-gram “Vampire Blue” colored vinyl across two LPs, housed in a heavyweight gatefold jacket with a matte satin coating, along with a die-cut back cover featuring a clear PVC window and a printed inner sleeve, creating a striking presentation worthy of this iconic horror score.

Composed by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman, the soundtrack is a masterful blend of orchestral power and contemporary emotion. From the stirring “Main Title” to the haunting “I Will Find You” performed by Clannad, every note captures the film’s grand sense of adventure, romance, and tragedy.
