- 2026 vinyl reissue
Originally released in 2009, this was the very first album ever issued on Jahtari vinyl, now finally returning to circulation for the first time since its debut.
The record features twelve carefully produced lo-fi dub excursions by disrupt, filled with offbeat riddims, sci-fi samples, inexpensive synth sounds, and otherworldly effects. The whole album is wrapped in gritty yet cosmic textures, with powerful low-end mastering by CGB1 at the legendary D&M studio in Berlin.
This new vinyl edition also includes several standout tracks such as the cult favorite “SEGA Beats,” a brilliant chiphop dub reinterpretation of Misora Hibari’s “Ringo Oiwake,” along with “Berzerk Dub” and “Echobombing” (the instrumental version of Kiki Hitomi’s “Nightwalkers”), which were previously only available on CD or limited 7-inch releases.
“The Bass Has Left The Building” is presented with the iconic artwork by Jimmy Cauty of KLF fame and comes complete with an insert poster featuring an exploding sound system.
