To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Seiko Matsuda’s legendary career, the Matsuda Seiko Composer Series presents a collection of albums organized by composer — each highlighting the timeless artistry behind her greatest songs.
Seiko Diamond focuses on Matsuda’s collaborations with Matsutoya Yumi, one of Japan’s most influential songwriters, who wrote under the pen name Kureda Karudo. This collection gathers some of the most iconic works born from their creative partnership, including unforgettable hits such as “Akai Sweet Pea,” “Nagisa no Balcony,” “Himitsu no Hanazono,” “Hitomi wa Diamond,” “Seifuku,” “Lemonade no Natsu,” and “Aoi Photograph.”
