Three of Masayoshi Takanaka’s most iconic works—T-WAVE, alone, and The Rainbow Goblins—return in deluxe remastered editions. Each album has been sourced from the original master tapes in high-resolution audio and pressed to 180g colored vinyl to complement its artwork.

T-WAVE (originally released June 1, 1980) shines here on clear orange vinyl, remastered and cut by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios. From the bright opener “Early Bird” to the breezy funk of “My Secret Beach”—famously featured in a Mazda Familia commercial—the album captures Takanaka at the peak of his vibrant, sun-soaked sound.

Meanwhile, alone also received the Abbey Road treatment from Wharton, while the legendary Miles Showell handled the half-speed remastering of fan-favorite concept album The Rainbow Goblins. Collectors and fans alike will find these reissues essential pieces of Takanaka’s legacy.
