An analog LP release has been announced to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Charli xcx’s BRAT [Japan Edition], which has been creating buzz with its Japan-exclusive “katakana” jacket design!
Charli xcx’s latest studio album BRAT was nominated in nine categories at the 67th Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year, and went on to win three awards: Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best Dance Pop Recording, and Best Recording Package. At the 2025 BRIT Awards, the album also dominated with a leading four wins, including Best Artist and Best Album. Reaching No.1 in the UK and Top 3 in the US, BRAT became a global phenomenon.
In Japan, the album made an especially strong impact thanks to its Japan-exclusive jacket artwork featuring the title “BRAT” rendered in katakana, earning widespread acclaim and becoming a major hit.
To celebrate its 1st anniversary, BRAT [Japan Edition] is now being released in a long-awaited analog LP format. As with the CD release, this edition features exclusive Japanese artwork and additional bonus tracks. It also includes an obi strip with liner notes, full lyrics, and Japanese translations. The LP is pressed on clear vinyl and is exclusive to the Japan Edition.
