Recorded during the group’s extensive 1988 world tour, with performances across Brazil, Australia, Japan, Mexico, and the United States, this album captures the explosive energy of one of Japan’s greatest jazz fusion bands on the international stage.

The release holds particular importance in CASIOPEA’s history. Although the band recorded four live albums during their Alfa Records years, including classics such as Thunder Live and the beloved Mint Jams, this is the only live album from their AURA/Polydor period. It therefore serves as a rare and invaluable snapshot of this celebrated lineup during one of the most exciting periods of their career.

Compared with their meticulously crafted studio recordings, these live performances reveal a more dynamic and spontaneous side of CASIOPEA. The enthusiastic response from overseas audiences seems to fuel the band, resulting in performances with greater intensity, sharper contrasts, and an unmistakable live energy.

The Japanese concerts are further enhanced by special guest appearances from a horn section featuring Horn Spectrum and TOPS Horns, adding extra power and color to the band’s already electrifying sound.
